the camera loves her

Yesterday we got to spend an afternoon with our favorite photographer/friend, Shawna K! She took our family pictures and some really fun ones of Emily. Emily showed off her new standing skills at the park, but it was in a downtown-urban setting that Shawna captured this precious moment. This dress I bought for Emily the night before we flew back to Mississippi to get her, because any baby clothes I had saved until then were unisex, and since I knew we were getting a baby girl, I could finally get something beautiful meant for a little girl!
