earthquake!

At 11:40 this morning I felt the earthquake! Emily was napping and I was designing a wedding album for Shawna. It rumbled a little, and I thought that someone must be up on the roof. Then the table began shaking and the rumbling increased like there were a dozen guys tapdancing on the roof... then it stopped. The End.

I am hearing about all these people who felt the earthquake but I felt nothing! I'm glad you posted about it though. Hope things are doing well. Emily (gosh, I love that name) is cuter than ever!

Oh, I know! It scared me at first. And my dog, who is scared of the trash truck slept right through it, ha ha.

I am happy Cali has prepared their buildings for just such an occasion. News has been syaing had a 5.4 hit anywhere else it would have been a major disaster. Yah for being prepared! It feeaked me out as I was on foxnews.com - flashed across top of screen that LA to San Diego just had a 5.4 earthquake. I called my mom. And immediately teared up when she anwsered and said she was just drinking a slushie and didn't even feel it. :) I tend to be a tad emotional when pregnant..... ;)

PS That reminds me of when we were stationed in Hawaii. The big island had the 6.4 earthquake which we also felt and affected us. No electricity for the whole day on the entire island. Needless to say we ate a lot of b-b-que food that day. Funny thing is I ran in to get Ben during the earthquakle worried he would be scared and he was in his crib rolling from side to side going gurgle gurgle hehehe weeeee....my silly little monkey.....
