Easter afternoon we took flowers to Dad's grave. Mom got fresh stock the day before at the farmers market, and it smelled so good! The kids always have fun checking out the other flowers, balloons, and paraphernalia around the cemetery, and Emily is known to come up to us with bouquets or a pinwheel, and doesn't remember where she got it. Great.
Now that Dad has passed away, Easter has become much more special. It reminds me that because of the resurrection of Christ, we will be with him again as a family.
Mom and her two *adorable* granddaughters
Then later we had dinner with Jason's parents and friends, complete with a backyard Easter egg hunt!
