cousin adventures

Brian and Melanie came down with the boys and we spent a long fun day together riding the trolley downtown to Seaport Village. The kids LOVED riding on the "trolley-train!" It was like musical chairs the whole time as they rotated who was sitting where and by whom. We rode the elevator to the top of the Hyatt for the spectacular view and a rousing game of "chase down the kids"

The carousel at Seaport Village is a must-do! Even though it has been entered as the latest on Emily's list of irrational fears along with bandaids and haircuts.
She evidently has no fear of strangers, though, as I glanced away for *literally* two seconds and then found her trying to pose with a couple of laughing young women on the grass, and then checking out the picture on the man's camera. Luckily they thought she was adorable. I was internally freaking out that she ran off so quickly! The boys spent a good amount of time trying to get to the top of the random abstract sculpture-turned playground.
It was a FUN day, and now every time we see the trolley pass by, Emily asks if we'll ride the trolley-train today, and names off her cousins that she rode on it with that day.
