on exhibit

After seeing some examples of the finalists from the art competition in the Ensign magazine, I was so excited to be able to visit the exhibit of all the finalists! I loved reading the artist statements for each piece, which gave further insight into the process and meaning. Here are the images I was able to capture of my favorites. I love that exhibit. I saw one a few years ago and was amazed. The 'sticks' carving are awesome. And you and I know just how much frustration and concentration goes into that which makes it all the more remarkable...
