kickin' back weekend

Happy Father's Day! We enjoyed going to church where we got a new stake president (who was our bishop!), dinner at grandma's with the cousins (Aunt Kathy gave me the recipe for her awesome foamy-jello-pudding), and a visit to leave flowers by dad's headstone. Jason got a box of his favorite to-die-for candy- See's milk bordeaux and a singing Pirates of the Caribbean themed card that Emily opened and closed all morning! The kids had fun at the cemetery- it was like a giant park to them, and the poor balloons left at other headstones got quite a bit of love, including Emily running across the grass with some partially deflated balloons and the flowers they were attached to dragging along behind.... oh, yeah, and the Mylar balloon shaped like a baseball jersey was just asking for it- the youngest boys couldn't resist treating it like a punching bag, until Tyler inadvertently set it free. Up to heaven, of course.
Do you remember those carefree days of rolling around in the green green grass?
We love PBS kids in the morning... but this is just a whole other level of kicking back!
Jason got an email with some crazy pictures of the tornado that hit the Iowa Boy Scout campground- the same one that he camped at as a kid!

Can you hear me laughing clear from Utah at Emily "kicking back?" Can't wait to see you and get my arms around her in a couple of weeks!
