We had a fun time going to the Del Mar Fair on Monday evening. We even rode in a double-decker bus as our shuttle to the front gate!
We went with our next-door neighbors Bryce and Emily- who was due on Sunday and started having contractions at the fair! The guy who drove them in the golf cart back to the entrance wanted them to name the baby Lewis after him. Sorry Lewis.
The yearbook I helped our students create won a first place blue ribbon! Our second year in a row! I am very proud. And shameless in stealing ideas from the other books for next year :)
Emily loved the farm animals! She got real friendly with some sheep...
Almost got her finger bitten off by a mean turkey... (I totally yelped right after I took this picture because that's when the turkey struck- luckily Jason was faster!)
So then we looked at the less scary rabbits.

but freaked out a little when the sheep bleats loudly at her!
She loves her daddy's shoulder-rides!

Heidi - you are amazing and must be so proud of the yearbook! Did you get to keep one? I'd love to see it! Bring that to UT too when you come!
I love it! She is adorable! Gosh! Everytime she just seems to be getting bigger in every picture! I love the pictures!

That looks like fun! I feel like it's fair season but there's nothing like that up here until the end of September. I LOVE the video of her being 'bleated' at by the sheep. I love how you guys laugh at her without any sympathy...totally made me laugh!
