B-2 stealth bomber

Jason loved the Christmas present from his dad- a private tour of the B-2 stealth bomber at the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, along with 3 hours flight time in the "amazingly realistic" flight simulator (where he crashed it). Apparently this was a pretty big deal, since the jet is so confidential it doesn't even land at air shows. If it does land anywhere other than this air base, the U.S. is required to inform Russia.
The guys were only allowed to take pictures from certain angles and none of the rear, where all the stealthy stuff is. After turning in their cameras, they got to climb through the cockpit, which Jason says is "awesome, big, and highly advanced."

The part that I thought was pretty amazing is that the tour guide told them to not cut their hand on the edge of the wing, because the metals that are used in the radar-absorbant paint would prevent it from healing for up to ten days!
The system is so sophistocated that technicians go through training for a year on how to load the weapons (some of which are nuclear).Jason loved this experience and said it was the best tour he'd ever been on!
